Matthew Pillers

Political Operations & Activism Coordinator

Matthew Pillers grew up on The Central Coast of California and graduated from Athens State University after studying Project Management.

Matthew Pillers discovered his pro-life calling after being introduced to Ron Paul’s unwavering defense of individual rights and the principle of non-aggression. Paul’s arguments about the right to life as the foundation of liberty challenged Matthew’s agnostic libertarian beliefs, prompting him to reevaluate the issue through the lens of personal responsibility and protecting the most vulnerable. After rejoining the Catholic Church, this belief was further reinforced by the Church’s teachings on the sanctity of life, deepening his commitment to pro-life advocacy as an integral part of his dedication to liberty and faith.

Matthew currently resides between Sioux Falls, SD, and Chicago, IL. and serves the Pro-Life Generation as Students for Life’s Political Operations & Activism Coordinator. This work includes advancing the pro-life mission through grassroots activism and political engagement. This role involves organizing and equipping student leaders, coordinating campaigns to influence pro-life legislation and policy, and fostering relationships with political allies and community partners. The coordinator also manages outreach efforts, develops strategic plans to mobilize young advocates, and ensures the success of initiatives to protect the dignity of human life at all stages.
