What Can You Do?
What’s Happening in Virginia?
A proposed amendment to the Virginia State Constitution, the Virginia Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment, would legalize abortion through all nine months of pregnancy and remove nearly every safeguard for mothers — including parental consent, informed consent, and health regulations for abortion vendors. Plus, it would end the requirement that babies born alive during abortions receive life-sustaining medical care. We must tell the Virginia House of Delegates to stop this radical amendment.

What Virginians Deserve to Know
According to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, roughly 15,500 abortions were committed in Virginia in 2023, with an estimated 100–225 abortions at or after 21 weeks gestation.
- Babies as early as 12 weeks gestation may be able to feel pain, and babies born as early as 21 weeks have survived with proper medical care.
- The Virginia Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment would remove any requirement to provide care for babies born alive and allow for abortions to be committed by anyone, in any place, for any reason.
