Mary Kate Horlander grew up in Indianapolis, IN and graduated from the University of Mary after studying Communications – Media Production. She previously worked as a public health communications specialist for North Dakota Health and Human Services, as well as the communications specialist for the North Dakota Legislative Council.
Mary Kate grew up pro-life but fell away from these views for a few years as a young adult. She re-discovered her pro-life calling through both faith and medical science reasoning, and is now determined to use her experiences of being on both sides of the debate to better defend life.
Mary Kate currently resides in Bismarck, ND and serves the Pro-Life Generation as Students for Life Action’s Press Specialist and Online Editor. This work includes writing news releases on introduced bills and upcoming lobby events, as well as editorials on political movements in the pro-life space.
