“Almost halfway through President Trump’s second term, we still haven’t seen any public momentum on addressing the number one means of ending LIFE in the womb, Chemical Abortion Pills,” said Students for Life’s Kristan Hawkins. “Not only did the Department of Justice make the wrong call in asking for a key legal case to be delayed or dismissed, but Attorney General Pam Bondi’s office has also failed to enforce the Comstock Act, something they could do today.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. (03-10-2026) – In Missouri v. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Department of Justice (DOJ) weighed in late Friday on the growing legal battle about Chemical Abortion Pills in a way sure to delight Planned Parenthood, Big Abortion, and the new Abortion Cartel. President Trump’s legal team at the DOJ argued that because a FDA review of Chemical Abortion Pills was announced in September 2025 and in light of many legal concerns raised about the pills’ approval process by the Fifth Circuit, all legal action should be put on hold to accommodate that review… or dismissed altogether, as people could sue at a later date. “Despite widespread evidence of issues with the deadly drugs, delays and denial seem to be the approach of the Trump Administration on Chemical Abortion Pills as a promised review is not expected soon,” said Students for Life of America (SFLA) President Kristan Hawkins.
“Three Democratic Party Presidents forced Chemical Abortion Pills on the market and then deregulated them, without 60 votes in the U.S. Senate. Chemical Abortion Pills expose mothers to injury, infertility, and death, and empowers abusers, who can use the deadly drugs against women and girls without their knowledge or consent. And this negligence allows more than 50 tons of chemically tainted blood, placenta tissue, and human remains to be flushed into America’s waterways EVERY YEAR. It feels like a slow walk to nowhere to say, ‘get back to us later’.”
