Abortion in America has been bizarrely enshrined in our federal public policy for decades now and was the centerpiece of the most tone-deaf political campaign in U.S. History in 2024.
The idea that the path to unite America was with MORE abortion using MORE taxpayer funding and LESS regulation – leading to the killing of hundreds of thousands of preborn babies and endangering their mothers- defied all common sense.
In last year’s election, we saw the Democratic Party’s abortion obsession play out in real time with their new mantra: “LOVE for Abortions that are NOT SAFE … ALWAYS LEGAL … TAXPAYER FUNDED…and NEVER RARE.”
And after running on the most radical abortion agenda in American history . . . they LOST, epically.
This brings us to OUR historic moment, where the pro-life movement stands unified behind a single message – Defund the Entire Abortion Industry and Defund their long-time standard bearer – Planned Parenthood – once and for all.
Like many politically protected businesses, corruption and reports of botched care for women are so widespread and egregious that even the New York Times has finally admitted there are serious, systemic problems.
For more than 15 years, through their own publicly available reports, we can see, year after year, that Planned Parenthood offers less and less REAL healthcare services, like STD screenings and treatments, and only two of their “service” numbers continue to climb — abortions and now, the national distribution scheme of sterilizing, wrong sex hormones to gender-confused young people.
So, what can we do with $700 million in annual federal healthcare funding if Planned Parenthood is defunded?
We can Make America Healthy Again by ensuring those healthcare dollars continue to stay with women and families who need them and can get to one of the already 1,400 federally-qualified, high quality health care centers who operate 19,000 service sites, who aren’t lobby agencies, who provide fully comprehensive healthcare services and understand when a pregnant woman walks in their doors, they have two patients to treat.
The Abortion Lobby lies when they say that poor women will lose healthcare if they are defunded.
Frankly, these women will save themselves a trip when they skip the extra stop at Planned Parenthood and go to better-equipped, already Federally Qualified Health Centers for quality care they can trust.
Plus, we can save the lives of preborn babies and improve women’s healthcare outcomes by cutting out the nation’s number one abortion vendor.
Because, quite frankly, if your “healthcare” kills people on purpose, you’re doing it wrong.
If your “plan” for parenthood is to strip that possibility away permanently, you need to be kicked off the government dole.
And by the way, as our tax money has continued to pour into the abortion giant, patients have been fleeing.
According to their recent 2023 annual report, Planned Parenthood saw barely more than 2 million patients, compared to the 32.5 million treated at federally funded and qualified health centers that offer the same services as a Planned Parenthood – plus much more and WITHOUT the abortions.
We can easily replace Planned Parenthood with Federally Qualified Health Centers and easily redirect patients from abortion vendors to those who treat two patients, not just one.
This is why reluctance from some Republicans here on Capitol Hill to use every tool available – reconciliation, a DOGE review, debarring and defunding Planned Parenthood permanently – makes no sense — especially when you consider the outcome of our last election.
President Trump and the GOP’s political enemies, Big Abortion Pharma and Planned Parenthood, have long gone after Republicans with the same viciousness they employ against innocent life in the womb.
For the abortion lobby, this investment in defeating Republicans has paid off – as their aggressive, multi-million election and lobbying operation has netted scores of Democratic political victories, and their political friends haven’t been shy with our tax money.
Our message to President Trump and the Republican legislators at both the federal and state levels is clear- it’s time to defund your political enemies. It’s time to invest in LIFE-SAVING, LIFE-AFFIRMING medical care.
And it’s high time to tell Planned Parenthood – Go Fund Yourselves.
