Now more than ever, people from all parts of the political spectrum agree on the same issue: that “Make America Healthy Again” is desperately needed in our society. That was the call to arms from former presidential candidate, now recently confirmed Health and Human Services (HHS) Director Robert F. Kennedy Jr., used to rally people to his candidacy in the 2024 election. Though he withdrew from the presidential race, this new role gives him the chance to attack and investigate one of America’s biggest health concerns: Chemical Abortion Pills.
Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane. During his presidential campaign, RFK Jr. Joined American outdoorsman and television host Steven Rinella as a guest on “The MeatEater Podcast.”
Their conversation occurred on “Episode 560: RFK Jr. on Polluters, Falconry, and Assassinations.” Their conversation reflected on Kennedy’s time growing up outdoors, falling in love with hunting using hawks (known as falconry), and discussing the assassinations of his uncle, former President John F. Kennedy, and his father, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy Sr. Hearing about those topics would be the highlight of the episode to most listeners. However, the thing that stuck out the most was Kennedy’s time with River Keepers and their efforts to clean up the waterways of the Hudson River.
Now, imagine if RFK Jr. was just as dedicated to removing Chemical Abortion Pill pollution. There are promising signs that he’ll take the pro-life movement seriously and look into it, including:
- Agreeing to reinstate Trump’s policy prohibiting taxpayer funding for fetal tissue research
- Agreeing to reinstate the Title X rule preventing taxpayer-funded funding of overseas abortion
- Admitting that Trump has not yet chosen his policy on mifepristone but said he would implement President Trump’s policies on chemical abortion
Imagine what would happen if Kennedy saw the depth of damage from Chemical Abortion Pills. As Students for Life of America (SFLA) Vice President of Media and Policy Kristi Hamrick, recently observed:
“Students for Life of America (SFLA) has filed multiple citizen petitions with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), noting that environmental testing and assessments were not done by the federal government when it comes to Chemical Abortion Pills … not when the pills first went on the market and not as Democratic Party presidents made it easier and easier to sell them through policy changes.
In fact, SFLA filed an amicus brief in the FDA case that looked at the dangers of Chemical Abortion Pills, never addressed for endangered species that can be exposed to the deadly concoction as chemically tainted blood, placenta tissue, and human remains are flushed into America’s wastewater system all over the country.”

Kennedy must continue to ensure that our water is clean of all pollutants, not just the discharge of paint companies and sewage from other factories, but also Chemical Abortion Pills. Chemical Abortion Pills have been a favorite method of business for Planned Parenthood and other abortion vendors since the year 2000. Since their legalization by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA), over 30 tons of chemically tainted waste enter our water ways every year.
These dangerous and harmful chemicals can cause:
- Immune and nervous system disturbances
- Infertility
- Increased risk of cancer
- Moodiness and mood disorders
- Hormone imbalances in women
- Decreased testosterone in men
In addition, this is funded by the American taxpayer. Planned Parenthood and other abortion vendors have been receiving federal government subsidies to not only end the lives of innocent preborn children but also to pollute our waterways. But how do they qualify for these subsidies if the Hyde Amendment forbids government funding of abortions? These mentioned government subsidies are provided to Planned Parenthood through their qualifications under current Medicare rules currently in place, and their ability to apply for family planning grants under Title X.
When asked about these subsidies and grants that companies purposefully pollute our environment, Kennedy responded with this:

“What polluters do is they make themselves rich by making everybody else poor. They raise standards of living for themselves by lowering the quality of life for everybody else and they do that by escaping the discipline of the free market. You show me a polluter, and I’ll show you a subsidy. I’ll show you a fat cat using political clout to escape the discipline of the free market and force the public to pay its production cost. That’s what all pollution is.” (emphasis added)
Now confirmed, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. must continue the work he started in the Hudson River Valley to ensure our water remains clear. This time, the mission was at a local level of one river system and all waterways in the United States. He must make Americans think before they drink. To stop the poisoning of the water, the environment, and us, we must hold these abortion vendors accountable for their pollution, ensuring they are no longer eligible to receive federal money in any form and ultimately must fund themselves. Only then can we stop these adverse effects that ravage our society.
