Rachel Shipers

Vice President of Operations

Rachel Shipers is from Missouri and graduated from the University of California, Irvine, earning a Master of Advanced Studies in Criminology, Law, and Society. Although her roots will always be in small-town Missouri, she has also lived in California, Hawaii, and Nepal before settling in the Kansas City metro area.

Rachel has a passion for the pro-life movement and believes God has called her to this mission. She has seen the devastation, trauma, fear, and confusion abortion has brought to this nation, regardless of faith background or political affiliation. Shipers believes we must advocate for public policy that protects both mother and child from the predatory abortion industry. She stands by, “We must do what is right, even when it is hard.”

Throughout her career, Rachel has worked in various capacities that promote and empower women, families, teens, and children; and also given opportunities to heal those affected by the abortion industry. She has directly worked with incest and rape survivors and their children, unplanned pregnancies, foster children, and more. With this experience, she undoubtedly stands by all life is deserving of protection, regardless of where you come from. She is currently serving in the Embrace Grace ministry at her local church, which supports and brings community for single and pregnant young women who choose life.

Rachel serves the Pro-Life Generation as Students for Life Action’s Vice President of Operations and Students for Life’s Director of Collaboration. She is the driving force behind the day-to-day operations of SFLAction and bringing cohesion across teams. Shipers is responsible for bringing life to SFLAction’s on-going work and successes to the entire Pro-Life Generation team, our supporters, and ministry partners. Her goal is to help the organizations strategically work together to make abortion illegal and unthinkable.
