This is a request for a New Deal with the Pro-Life Generation to ensure that our nation welcomes the next generation of Americans in life and protects them with the law.

You have been a man of your word, making and keeping deals with the American people and with our allies around the world. As you launch your campaign following the Republican National Convention, the Pro-Life Generation must have a New Deal with the new Trump Administration, poised to return to the White House and Executive Offices of Washington D.C., building up our nation not just for we who will vote but for those who depend on us.

In your first administration, you kept your word and nominated judges and justices who respected the law and reversed injustices created by those who legislated from the bench. In particular, your singular accomplishment of three Supreme Court Justice appointments resulted in the end to Roe v. Wade, which wrongly invented a “right” to abortion out of thin air. This makes it possible for elected leaders and the local and state levels to now join federal office holders in protecting life in law and in service.

This possibility is reflected in part in the GOP Platform, which lays a framework for change on the human rights issue of the day – abortion – that has resulted in the deaths of more than 65 million Americans. So great a tragedy demands a federal response.

Building on the framework of the GOP Platform, the Pro-Life Generation asks for a New Deal that will: 

1.     End Federal Involvement with Abortion & Abortion Vendors. Abortion is federal in large part because taxpayers subsidize it. We ask that the Trump Administration Debar & Defund Planned Parenthood and cut funds to all national and international abortion vendors. 

2.     Appoint strong pro-life leaders to key roles to Stop the Weaponization of Federal Policy & Agencies against pro-life Americans and end the prejudice in favor of abortion in policy. The Biden Administration and their Democratic Party allies have used federal agencies, programs, mandates, and regulations against many Americans – pro-life individuals among them – a predatory practice that must come to an end. On abortion policy, those radical partisans acted from the inside of government at Health and Human Services (HHS), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Department of Education (DOE) to name only a few. Even the U.S. Post Office has been weaponized in favor of abortion policy. We ask the Trump Administration to replace abortion activists in government with key appointments who will end the weaponization of policy on the life issue and restore programs to their life-affirming purposes. As personnel is policy, we ask for good pro-life partners to be added to the President’s team.

3.     Condemn ALL Late-Term Abortion Measures, STATE & FEDERAL, beginning with the Abortion Extremism of the State Ballot Initiatives, Get-Out-The-Vote efforts for a flagging, failing Democratic Party Ticket. An abortion lobby grown fat off of federal dollars not only acts against the interests of mothers and their children, born and preborn, but also against GOP leaders, attacking them at every turn. To that end, state ballot initiatives function as Get-Out-The-Vote efforts for Abortion radicals and as an effort to “enshrine” abortion into state constitutions to give legal cover to late-term abortion and to keep the tax money coming. We ask that President Trump and all GOP leaders — from the top of the ticket to the bottom – call for NO votes on the radical pro-abortion ballot initiatives in EVERY state where LIFE is on the ballot.

4.     Affirm the fact that the U.S. Constitution provides support for protecting life in law in the 14th Amendment & add mention of these protections to legislative findings: Federal & State. The most significant contribution the GOP platform on the human rights issue of our day was the inclusion of the fact that the 14th Amendment provides legal protection for life and is already in our U.S. Constitution. We ask that President Trump and his team talk about and affirm 14th Amendment protections for life and that legislators include it in legislative findings and discussion, as an important legal foundation – now restored with Roe gone. 

5.     Pledge not to ignore the radicalism of pro-abortion Democrats, instead calling them out at every opportunity for their support of practices that are wildly out of touch with mainstream America. Republicans lose when they shy away from discussing abortion, and the pro-life voter base is hungry for stronger leadership on the human rights issue of our day. As evidenced by the 2024 DNC, wild pro-abortion antics like a mob dressed up in abortion pill costumes, abortifacient drugs dispensed via candy machines, and extreme rhetoric have become commonplace and demand a public response from the GOP. We ask that President Trump and his team set the example for pro-life legislators nationwide that calling out the abortion extremism of the Democrat Party appeals to the average American (who are not abortion radicals) and is a winning strategy.

The Pro-Life Generation, made up of more than 200,000 trained activists and active on more than 1,475 college and university campuses in all 50 states, is already engaged in the hard work of door knocking, social media and digital outreach, and direct campus engagement efforts to help build a winning coalition. President Trump, we ask you and your GOP partners in Congress give us something to vote for, a champion for the least of these, as we prepare to undo the disastrous impact of the Biden-Harris Administration and Democratic Party rule.

Mr. President, we ask for a New Deal for a new generation of voters.
