After President-elect Donald Trump’s landslide victory, a 2023 clip recently went viral of Trump discussing his plans to ban transgender child mutilation surgeries for minors nationwide.
“The left-wing gender insanity being pushed in our children is an act of child abuse,” Trump said in his video. “… On Day 1, I will revoke [President] Joe Biden’s cruel policies on so-called gender-affirming care.”
His bold actions don’t stop there. Trump pledged to sign an executive order instructing federal programs to immediately cease all programs of sex and gender transitions at any age.
If Trump follows through on this much-needed initiative to keep gender activists from confusing and permanently damaging children, Planned Parenthood will be bleeding money. After all, Planned Parenthood jumped on the opportunity to add “transgender services” to their abortion portfolio, becoming the second largest “gender-affirming care” organization in the country.
Transgenderism among children rose significantly, surmising not that all these children have gender dysphoria but that they were pressured, confused, and manipulated into partaking in chemical and surgical castration. Reuters reported the following alarming statistics:
“In 2021, about 42,000 children and teens across the United States received a diagnosis of gender dysphoria, nearly triple the number in 2017, according to data Komodo compiled for Reuters.”
Additionally, Reuters found an “increasing number of U.S. children diagnosed with gender dysphoria are choosing medical interventions to express their identity and help alleviate their distress.”
Detransitioner Chloe Cole fights against transgenderism for minors who are coerced by adults and medical professionals into the deception, writing for DailyWire:
“I know this coercion firsthand. At 12-years-old, I was struggling with several mental health problems. I spent hours and hours on social media listening to transgender activists who convinced me that I must have been born in the wrong body. If only I was a boy, my problems would all go away.
I went to doctors who took advantage of my youth and naivety. Rather than treat my numerous comorbidities with mental health counseling, they handed me — at age 12 — a prescription pad for permanent pharmaceutical and surgical intervention. No one warned me about the lifelong ramifications of this decision. No one told me about the ever-growing mountain of evidence undermining the pro-transition propaganda I was being bombarded with.” (emphasis added)
There’s also evidence of child abuse from transgender facilities. Earlier this year, Newsmax reported that “Missouri GOP Attorney General Andrew Bailey, in an interview with Newsmax on Saturday, accused Planned Parenthood of being a ‘cult of death and destruction’ and detailed a state investigation into transgender clinics, alleging gender mutilation and child abuse.” (emphasis added)
With Trump entering office, Students for Life of America (SFLA) hopes he keeps his word. In his video statement, Trump also claimed that he’s tagging the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate big pharma and hospital networks to determine if abuse or cover-ups occurred and to get men out of women’s sports.
While Trump seems to be tearing one of Planned Parenthood’s cash cows, we hope he does the same to their biggest stream of income: abortion. SFLA will continue to push for Planned Parenthood to be federally defunded and debarred. Investigating and halting transgenderism on minors could be a start.
