West Virginia – What’s in the water?

By the abortion industry’s own estimations, chemical abortion accounts for over half of all abortions, though we cannot know the exact number.

Our government does not track these drugs, despite the fact that they can cause injury, infertility, and even death…among other complications.

There is not national abortion reporting law, so the CDC really does not have accurate statistics on the real impact of these drugs.

So little is known about the true impact of chemical abortion drugs, including its environmental impact. We know from other studies that there are plenty of substances in the water that disrupt the reproductive cycles of both humans and animals, in addition to other side effects. But how badly? Students for Life is taking steps to find out!

SFLAction is starting an environmental accountability project to find out what’s in the water, in order to hold the manufacturers of these drugs accountable.

We must demand environmental assessments of Chemical Abortion Pills. It has NEVER been looked into. Wastewater facilities are NOT requred to test for the presence of RU-486, misoprostol, hormones, or other chemical pollutants that may affect the health of people and animals. Additionally, treated wastewater flows into rivers and groundwater. Imagine if our water is being polluted by these harmful drugs, and we have no idea!
