COLUMBIA, S.C. (08-25-2026) — Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins congratulated U.S. Sen. Darline Graham on advancing from the GOP primary to a general election contest for the U.S. Senate seat in South Carolina. The victory came after intense campaigning for the seat tragically vacated by the death of Graham’s brother, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham. President Donald Trump endorsed U.S. Sen. Darline Graham to fill the seat. Hawkins noted: “SFLAction will fight alongside U.S. Sen. Graham, who said she was the most outspoken supporter of LIFE in the race. We, of course, hope that claim proves true and that she will immediately co-sponsor our ‘National Life at Conception Act.’”
“We need fighters for LIFE in the U.S. Senate as radical abortion extremists in the Democratic Socialist Party are taking over the Democratic Party. Today’s Democrats are not your grandparents’ Democrats who cared about mothers and their children — born and preborn — that I grew up with,” noted Hawkins.
