Anti-Christian bias isn’t just a “slip of the tongue” talking point for Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign – it’s a belief that drives her campaign. The by-product is advocating for abortion up until birth and making a mockery of Christians. The most recent and blatant example occurred during a Harris rally at UW-La Crosse’s campus, where two pro-life students protested by yelling out pro-life messages, as well as “Christ is Lord!” to which Harris, without hesitation replied:
“Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.”
Thunderous applause came from Harris’ audience, but not without a shudder and rightful disdain from Christian commentators and citizens nationwide. Despite a decline in Christianity over the last few decades, Christians still make up 64% of Americans. Even for those who aren’t Christians, many Americans still respect Judeo-Christian values and see them as a net good for society. So, make no mistake – she’s purposefully alienated anyone, not just Christians, who follow Judeo-Christian values, which include upholding the sanctity of life at the moment of conception.

As we’ve previously discussed at Students for Life Action (SFLAction), Christians can’t afford to sit out of the election, nor can they afford to misinterpret Harris’ dislike of Christians and Catholics. Her recent line is the tip of a very recent iceberg of Christian and Catholic hatred. One of her most egregious acts was supporting the Do No Harm Act, which would force people of faith to provide abortions. But after her disastrous Fox News appearance, she also skipped the wildly popular Catholic Al Smith Fundraiser, filled with New York’s Catholics and Jews.
As Jim Gaffigan noted during the dinner, ““Catholics will be a key demographic in every battleground state. Why is Vice President Kamala Harris not here?”
Instead of attending, she decided to send an unfunny video with an SNL character playing out a Catholic school girl, an overused and tiresome stereotype.
Not only does Harris not take Christianity seriously, but its beliefs and anyone who holds or agrees with them are not welcome. She is not for “all Americans” as she claims to be. She is first and foremost for her radical-based, whose foundation is unrestricted legal access to killing the preborn.

This can’t be overlooked or overstated for any person of faith or sees intrinsic value in Christianity.
Luke Polaske and Grant Beth, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse players who called out Harris, recount their experience and what he saw.
“On video, Grant’s getting pushed and shoved, and there’s about five seconds before she tells us to go to a small rally down the street. You can see in the video that she waves. She was waving to me,” Polaske told Fox News. “I took this cross off my neck that I wear and, as we were getting asked to leave, I held it up in the air and waved at her and pointed at her, and she looked directly in the eye, kind of gave me an evil smirk.”
As the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words. In Harris’s case, it’s both. She may do a photo op at a church calling for “people of faith” to vote for her, but it doesn’t demonstrate her loyalty to protecting Christians’ religious liberty. She has endorsed the most fundamental evil that the church stands against, which is the killing of innocent preborn babies. Her historic visit to Planned Parenthood should’ve been proof of that.
There are many pro-abortion actions Harris has taken to prove she’s no friend to Christians, but this simple, quick-phrase seals the deal.
However, one simple yet powerful phrase clarifies where pro-life Christians stand:
Christ is Lord.
Our challenge to pro-lifers is to make this phrase known – Christ is Lord, and each preborn baby is made in His image.
