Vice President Kamala Harris made history yesterday by being the first vice president to ever visit an abortion facility during a campaign stop in St. Paul Minnesota. This odious milestone is ironic, given her identity as a woman of color and Planned Parenthood’s own history as the brainchild of a racist eugenicist that hated African Americans.
As we noted in a previous blog on Students for Life of America (SFLA). because of Planned Parenthood, the percentage of the American population that is African American has remained at nearly 13% for many years: no meaningful population growth over a period of five decades.
But evidently, none of that matters to Vice President Harris. As reported by the BBC:
“Kamala Harris has visited a Minnesota abortion clinic, the first time a US vice-president, or president, has ever visited such a facility, according to the White House.
She toured the Planned Parenthood site with its chief medical officer.
Speaking at the clinic, Ms Harris said she was there because the US was facing a “very serious health crisis”.
Her fellow Democrats are seeking to make abortion one of the defining issues of November’s US elections.”
It’s a grotesque and evil spectacle, and perfectly on brand for the most pro-abortion presidential administration in the modern era. As the article correctly notes, the Democrats are going all in on abortion.
Just last week at his State of the Union speech, Joe Biden used his platform to attack the Supreme Court for overturning Roe v. Wade, and focused his energies on falsehoods about invitro fertilization and abortion.

Across the country, the pro-abortion industry and their puppets in the Democrat Party are racing to collect signatures to try and put abortion on the ballot in November, no matter how extreme the proposals.

Even the Democrats signature healthcare law, the Women’s Health Protection Act, would go far beyond the limits that Roe once had, paltry as they were. This proposed law would allow abortions to be conducted up until birth nationwide, without any ability for the states to push back, demand taxpayer funding, and trample on the conscience rights of medical professionals.
And not a single Democrat voted in favor of HR 26 Born Alive Infants Protection Act, showcasing their support for infanticide for those born during botched abortions.
But this visit to the abortion facility and the Democrats laser focus of baby killing policy only highlights the absurdity of where Vice President Harris and the Biden Administration as a whole are choosing NOT to make appearances at.
Not at grocery stores, where food prices are astronomically expensive.
Not at the U.S. border, where over eight million illegal immigrants have crossed since Joe Biden took office in January 2021.
Not at a housing development, to address the almost 3.2 million unit housing shortage that’s dramatically affecting the affordability of homes for the U.S. middle class.
Rather than focus their energies on acts that could serve to help save the nation and prevent the suffering of millions, the Biden Administration used their time, and taxpayer dollars, to visit a facility where children are intentionally killed for profit: where the suffering and death of millions have been caused.
If that doesn’t show you what they care about, nothing will.
