In many races across the country this year, the lives of preborn babies and the safety of their mothers is at stake. SFLAction is engaging in key electoral battles, educating voters about our important pro-life legislation and mobilizing to fight against radical pro-abortion constitutional amendments in Idaho, Nevada, and Virginia. Plus, we'll be fighting to pass a pro-life constitutional amendment in Missouri!
As we have already seen in 2026, grassroots engagement is not symbolic. It truly moves the needle in elections and changes what is possible. In the Republican primary elections in North Carolina, we set out to educate voters about Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger's repeated failure to pass pro-life legislation. Sen. Berger had held his seat for 26 years, had $10 million in his campaign chest, and boasted an endorsement from President Trump. His opponent, Rockingham County Sheriff Sam Page, had just a fraction of the funds.
SFLAction knocked hundreds of doors and sent 55,000 texts to voters in North Carolina. And in March 2026, Sheriff Sam Page defeated Sen. Berger by a razor thin margin of 23 votes. That is the kind of impact we want to make throughout the entire 2026 election season.
