GREENVILLE, SC (12-5-23) — Students for Life Action’s Campaign for Abortion Free Cities (CAFC) Greenville pledged to support the resolution Greenville County Councilman Stan Tzouvelekas will be introducing to shut down the Greenville Women’s Clinic, the largest abortion facility in the Palmetto State. Campaign for Abortion Free Cities Greenville leader Hayden Laye said the Pro-Life Generation “will urge every member of the Greenville County Council to protect mothers and their preborn children from the disreputable abortion vendor known for bad conditions by shutting down the failed operation.”
According to Check My Clinic & DHEC reports, the Greenville Women’s Clinic has failed to comply with state regulations multiple times, failed to manage infectious waste, and failed to maintain emergency kits, as reported by those doing health and safety inspections. Pro-life activists in the region also note that violent pro-abortion protesters have been allowed to harass peaceful pro-lifers praying silently.
“The people of Greenville County and Upstate South Carolina deserve better than the Greenville Women’s Clinic,” said Laye, “Abortion hurts women, but at this disreputable abortion vendor, a failing record plus the hostile treatment from radical abortion supporters add up to this vital resolution that can end these dangers. I personally have had things stolen and been harassed by protesters who seem to work with the abortion business. I couldn’t agree more with Councilman Tzouvelekas that the Greenville Women’s Clinic is a nuisance business that must be shut down.”

Students for Life Action (SFLAction), a 501c4, along with its 501c3 sister organization, Students for Life of America (SFLA), make up the nation’s largest, pro-life youth organization, managing a political and policy operation engaging Americans of all ages but with a special emphasis on the largest segment of voters — the Youth Vote. Together they provide political, legal, educational, and community support for women and children, born and preborn. Headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA, SFLA serves more than 1,400 groups on middle, high school, college, medical, and law school campuses in all 50 states. SFLA and SFLAction have more conversations with this generation targeted by the abortion lobby than any other pro-life operation in the world, each week reaching more than 4 million across social media platforms and averaging 1.3 million video views. SFLA has also launched multiple initiatives to lead and serve the future of the pro-life movement including the Campaign for Abortion Free Cities, Standing With You, and the Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement . Over more than 17 years, President Kristan Hawkins has grown SFLAction/SFLA and the Pro-Life Generation into a nearly $20M organization, now preparing for an abortion-free America.
