Starting in Early January, 1 Federal Pro-Life Lobby Day & 46 States Campaigns to Launch, Calling for Pro-Life Innovation
“The Youth Vote is poised to be a majority of potential voters by 2028. Students for Life Action will rally the most dedicated of voters and volunteers – pro-life students – to go to every state capital with a legislative session this year (46) and to Washington D.C. where we will work to protect LIFE in law and in service,” said Students for Life’s Kristan Hawkins. “Our focus will be on deadly Chemical Abortion Pills and protection from the moment of conception for those too small to have a voice.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (01-06-2026) – Students for Life Action (SFLAction) will lead the charge for pro-life policy from the first days of federal and state sessions all over the nation during one federal and 46 state lobbies, which began January 5 in Indiana. SFLAction President Kristan Hawkins noted legislators should be on notice that a loyal and passionate voting bloc would be paying attention to what happens in defense of LIFE.
“Our own Students for Life’s Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement polling shows that even those considered all in for abortion, there are real limits possible,” said Hawkins. “Year after year, we’ve seen consistent support for addressing the deadly risks and environment hazard that is Chemical Abortion Pills, by more than 9 in 10 among registered youth voters. You don’t have to be ‘pro-life’ to want crystal clear drinking water, unpolluted by more than 50 tons of chemically tainted blood and placenta tissue, along with human remains, flushed into America’s waterways every year.”
SFLA will be distributing an innovative package of model legislation addressing the cutting edge of policy. The bills include:
- Anti-Chemical Abortion Pills Trafficking Act
- Clean Water for All Life Act
- Defunding Planned Parenthood Act
- Ending Chemical Abortions Act
- Life at Conception Act
- Protecting Women from Abusers Act
- Safe Haven Security & Adoption Act
Hawkins, in a letter that will be distributed as part of legislator outreach, noted that the Pro-Life Generation has one more goal in mind, writing, “Pro-life voters also care very much about helping both mother and child. In particular, we are looking to introduce adoption family legislation. We have model legislation for Safe Haven Newborn Safety Devices, which would mandate a newborn safety device be installed in a hospital, fire station, or law enforcement agency. As well as model legislation for Safe Haven Babies Go to Adoption, which would add that the Department of Health and Welfare must maintain a list of licensed adoption agencies for placing abandoned children and transfer custody to a selected agency within 24 hours.”
