Students for Life Action Heading to Virginia to Recruit and Raise Awareness Ahead of 2023 State Elections

“Virginia is in the cradle of the American Republic and where SFLAction is headquartered. We will fight to protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, which are at risk through the policies being pushed. To be clear, abortion is on the ballot,” said Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins. “We have the best ground game in the pro-life movement, and this weekend in Fairfax and Virginia Beach, we’re going to keep the pressure up on the Abortion Industrial Complex and the Democrat Party.”

FAIRFAX, VA (09-27-2023) Students for Life Action (SFLAction) will be in Fairfax and Virginia Beach, Virginia this coming weekend, to rally support and to canvass for the upcoming November election. Staff and volunteers from SFLAction will be canvassing the area and conducting leadership training. This is one of many stops planned as part of the larger “Stop Abortion Extremism Tour” organized by SFLAction to push back against the Biden administrations brand of abortion extremism.

“Virgnia has a slate of great pro-life candidates that can move the needle for Life in this incredibly important swing state – the election in November could set the stage for what we see in the general election in this state in 2024,” said Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins. “Equally true is that some of the most radically pro-abortion Democrats in America, who even have ties to Marxist thinking, are running in Virginia. Currently, it has some of the worst abortion laws in the nation. But with a groundswell of voter turnout, we can create a pro-life Republican majority in the Virginia State Government and save lives.”

Virginia allows abortion beyond 25 weeks (around six months of pregnancy), sadly making it one of the most permissive in the nation. Some of the candidates in Virginia that are running to preserve this deadly status quo includes:

Students for Life Action (SFLAction), a 501c4, along with its 501c3 sister organization, Students for Life of America (SFLA), make up the nation’s largest, pro-life youth organization, managing a political and policy operation engaging Americans of all ages but with a special emphasis on the largest segment of voters — the Youth Vote. Together they provide political, legal, educational, and community support for women and children, born and preborn. Headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA, SFLA serves more than 1,400 groups on middle, high school, college, medical, and law school campuses in all 50 states. SFLA and SFLAction have more conversations with this generation targeted by the abortion lobby than any other pro-life operation in the world, each week reaching more than 4 million across social media platforms and averaging 1.3 million video views. SFLA has also launched multiple initiatives to lead and serve  the future of the pro-life movement including the Campaign for Abortion Free Cities, Standing With You, and the Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement . Over more than 17 years, President Kristan Hawkins has grown SFLAction/SFLA and the Pro-Life Generation into a nearly $20M organization, now preparing for an abortion-free America.
