“The Democrats have made unlimited abortion the cornerstone of their entire election strategy from the state level to the federal level, choosing to focus on ending lives rather than ending the suffering from the economic and national security policies Kamala Harris helped push and even cast tie-breaking votes to advance,” said Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins. “But the abortion extremism of Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will be their undoing. The more that voters learn about the Democrats’ plan to codify a national abortion law worse than Roe, guaranteeing late-term abortion until the moment of birth, the more voters will choose to vote for Life!”

FREDERICKSBURG, VA (09-30-2024) – Students for Life Action (SFLAction) staff, students, and volunteers are gathering in critical swing states around the country to push back and defeat the most pro-abortion Presidential ticket in modern history. SFLAction President Kristan Hawkins said, “American voters are being forced to confront the most pro-abortion Presidential ticket ever. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz would make America the most pro-abortion nation in the Western Hemisphere, writing into law abortion access without any limits, until birth or beyond. We must say NO to the Harris-Walz ticket, just like we must say NO to the pro-abortion ballot initiatives at the state level. With millions of lives on the line, the stakes couldn’t be higher. The Pro-Life Generation is mobilized and ready to fight for Life and defend pro-life leaders in law and service.”
Recently, SFLAction kicked off a brand-new advertising campaign, the Democrats for Infanticide Campaign, showcasing the Democrats’ comfort with the barbarism of late-term abortion and even infanticide, which includes a national TV commercial and a digital launch in Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and New Hampshire.

There are 12 states where SFLAction will be primarily focusing this election cycle because of previous primary wins for critical legislative seats, the presence of a hotly contested U.S. Senate race involving a strong pro-life candidate, or a pro-abortion ballot initiative threatening preborn lies in the state. These states include:
- Arizona
- Florida
- Michigan
- Montana
- Missouri
- North Carolina
- New Hampshire
- Nebraska
- Oklahoma
- Pennsylvania
- South Carolina
- West Virginia
As of now, SFLAction has plans to be in the following states for student-led grassroots deployments and voter engagement campaigns:
- October 5-6: Phoenix, AZ; Tucson, AZ; Wayne, MI
- October 12-13: Rochester, NH; Concord, NC; Elizabeth City, NC
- October 19-20: Celebration, FL; St. Charles, MO
- October 26-27: Oklahoma City, OK
- November 2-3: York, PA
“All of our hard work in the last two years across the country has come down to this,” said Hawkins. “From putting the ‘sister senators’ in South Carolina on notice with our spines and defeating them in the primary, to pushing for heartbeat abortion protections to be passed in Florida and fighting against the pro-abortion forces in the Arizona Legislature, it’s time to finish the job and ensure the Life wins this November!”
When three GOP “sister” senators in South Carolina flip-flopped in spring 2023 and declared their intention to oppose the passage of pro-life laws, including SFLAction’s Life at Conception Act, the trio received a whimsical award of a backbone from SFLAction, reminding the legislators to “get a spine,” and stand up to the abortion lobby. And the Pro-Life Generation didn’t forget their betrayal, engaging in their GOP primaries this spring. All three lost their elections.

SFLAction recently launched its own abortion ballot initiative campaign, Abortionballot.com, featuring state specific information, resources, and messaging kits for the “Vote No” campaign. This fall, 10 states will be facing down pro-abortion ballot initiatives that if successful would enshrine and expand abortion to unrestricted levels, through all nine months, for any reason up until birth.
