WASHINGTON D.C. (07-15-2024) – Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins made the following comment, following the announcement of Sen. J.D. Vance as President Trump’s choice to join him as his Vice President on the 2024 ticket:
“Never far from his roots, Sen. J.D. Vance’s humble beginnings have made him an articulate champion for families caught in the margins. His selection as Vice Presidential Candidate elevates calls for more support for vulnerable families, women and their children – born and preborn. Students for Life Action has been proud to work with the Senator’s team to provide additional benefits for young families and pregnant mothers, which is part of the hard work of protecting life in law and in service at every stage of life. But it will be important to talk with this ticket about the realities of how the Biden Administration has weaponized policy and the law against Pro-Life Americans and the preborn children.”
