Three Christian Schools Cut Ties With The Abortion Industry

Christian Brothers University, a Catholic school in Tennessee, The Masters University, a non-denominational school, in California, and Adrian College, a United Methodist school, in Michigan all cut ties with the abortion industry.

This came after Students for Life Action and our National Field Director sent a letter to these schools asking them to end their relationship with the abortion industry. Students for Life Action has sent over 70 letters to Christian schools urging them to cut ties with Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. We sent letters to all three colleges about our concerns with paying for student abortions and directing students to the nation’s largest abortion vendor. We alerted Christian Brothers University and The Masters University that they covered abortion in their student health insurance plans and alerted Adrian College that Planned Parenthood was listed as a resource on their school website.

Christian Brothers University and Adrian College never responded to us, but our concerns were heard because the insurance coverage and Planned Parenthood link were removed from their websites. The Masters University responded to us and updated their health insurance plan on their website to not include abortion coverage.

We want to thank the leadership of these colleges for ending their relationship with the abortion industry. No Christian college should be partnering with Planned Parenthood or the abortion industry.

These victories follow the removal of Planned Parenthood links from Lubbock Christian University, Clarks Summit University, Pepperdine University, Seattle University, Westmont College, the University of Findlay, La Sierra University, Columbia College SC, Edgewood College, Loyola University, and the College of Saint Scholastica.
