ALSO ON THE MOVE IN OKLAHOMA: SFLAction calls for OK State Sen. Julie Daniels to bring SFLAction’s “Anti-Chemical Abortion Pill Trafficking Act” (HB1168) to the Senate floor for a vote and for the Senate to pass the legislation.
“Forcing people who have dedicated their lives to helping mothers and their children, born and preborn, to advertise abortion goes beyond violating their free speech rights. It’s cruel and unusual punishment,” said Students for Life’s Kristan Hawkins. “Protecting the rights of Pregnancy Resource Centers to promote life-affirming care represents a vital defense of those who care about whether a child in the womb lives or dies.”

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK. (03-17-2026) — Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins applauded the Oklahoma House’s passage of House Bill 3194 (HB3194), a bill that, if enacted, would protect Pregnancy Resource Centers from being forced to commit, refer for, or counsel in favor of abortion in order to continue providing prenatal and post-natal care. “This is the very least that we can do for those caring for the least of these,” said Hawkins.
The bill, which passed the House by a vote of 79-18, would build on the state’s existing Pregnancy Resource Navigator program, which provides health, nutritional, financial, and other material resource assistance at no cost to pregnant and parenting women, children, and families in the Sooner State.
The new bill further enforces Oklahoma’s pro-life stance and programming by legislatively protecting Pregnancy Resource Centers that provide such resources. If signed into law, HB3194 would mandate that:
- Centers cannot be forced to perform abortions or distribute abortion-inducing drugs or contraception.
- Centers cannot be required to refer patients to other providers for abortions or contraception.
- Government entities cannot force centers to “counsel in favor of” abortion or post information/signage that promotes abortion services.
- The state cannot prohibit a center from providing prenatal or post-natal resources simply because they do not offer abortion services.
- The government cannot interfere in the staffing or hiring decisions of these centers, allowing them to hire based on their specific mission or values.
Yet, despite the progression of legislation like HB3194 that helps support mothers who choose Life, more needs to be done to protect the preborn babies of Oklahoma.
SFLAction is calling for Sen. Julie Daniels to bring SFLAction’s “Anti-Chemical Abortion Pill Trafficking Act” (HB1168) to the Senate floor for a vote and for the Senate to pass the legislation.
“Other heroic efforts to go after Chemical Abortion Pill pushers are underway in Oklahoma, but this innovative SFLAction bill provides for criminal and civil penalties,” Hawkins said February. “Individuals setting up death-by-mail businesses will face the force of law as well a risk of financial losses… Our goal is to end the partnership between a new abortion cartel and abusers, using the drugs against mothers without their knowledge and consent.”
Pro-life states like Oklahoma are being openly targeted by Chemical Abortion Pill vendors to kill hundreds of thousands of preborn children. It’s time for Oklahoma to legislatively embrace the full meaning of pro-life: Ending abortion and the illegal infiltration of Chemical Abortion Pills into the state while supporting the health and well-being of children, women, and families.
SFLAction is calling for HB3194 and SFLAction’s “Anti-Chemical Abortion Pill Trafficking Act” to be taken up by the Senate immediately for vote and passage. SFLAction is encouraging Mississippians to join us in calling on Oklahoma senators to take up for a floor vote and pass SFLAction’s “Anti-Chemical Abortion Pill Trafficking Act” and HB3194.
