Achieving Rollbacks of State “Mini-Roes” & a Capitol Hill Post-Roe Roadmap

“Addressing the abuse of federal power with prejudice for abortion and against pro-life Americans allows for a lot of policy options. Three Democratic Party Presidents manipulated Chemical Abortion Pill policies, fast-tracking approval, deregulating them despite the known dangers, and ignoring abortion water pollution. One President can fix it, as everyone wants crystal clear water, free of pathological waste,” said Students for Life Action’s Kristan Hawkins. “And for those who believe that states are locked down by ballot initiatives, guess again. The fact that the FDA approved a pill will not be a defense against liability or consequences for all the harm that followed. A Constitutional Roadmap will lead the way.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (11-12-2024) – Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins, along with state and federal legislators, will share a policy overview outlined at Make America Pro-Life Again, where specific plans and legal strategy describe legislative steps for state and federal legislators. “Even at the height of Roe’s power, we were able to limit a specific method and means of abortion because of the right of government to protect citizens and their safety. That case was Gonzales v. Carhart, which today is a legal roadmap to where we want to go next,” said Hawkins.

Hawkins, along with SFLAction Vice President Kristi Hamrick, will be joined by federal and state legislators discussing their concerns with Chemical Abortion Pills, now the number one method and means of intentional abortion in the United States and in the world.

Special guests will include:

  • U.S. Congresswoman Virginia Foxx of North Carolina
  • State Sen. Patricia Rucker of West Virginia
  • State Sen. Tim Salazar of Wyoming
  • State Rep. Rachel Jones of Arizona

“President-Elect Trump, we’ve got your back,” said Hawkins, noting that his campaign focused on the abuses of weaponized government as well as support for common-sense policies, such as clean water.

Students for Life of America (SFLA) and SFLAction have pioneered a plan for addressing the number one method and means of abortion: Chemical Abortion Pills. In addition to legislative work, both state and federal, SFLA has filed four citizen petitions with the FDA (precursors to legal action), called on the EPA to track the forever chemicals of Chemical Abortion Pills, and created digital outreach aimed at the generation most targeted for abortion – the youth vote.

SFLAction targeted the Youth Vote in this election cycle, predicting a 40% winnable margin despite the claims that the demographic was all in for abortion. Our work paid off. Exit polling from the Washington Post: The ages of 18-29 were 55% Harris and 42% to Trump, while the ages of 30-44 were 51% Harris and 46% for Trump, an increase from previous elections.

The Pro-Life Generations’ Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement notes that the Youth Vote supports commonsense health and safety standards on Chemical Abortion Pills for women as well as strong environmental protections – by margins of MORE THAN NINE IN 10. Learn more here and tune in for the details of a new legislative approach to Make America Pro-Life Again.
