National Association of Christian Lawmaker’s 2025 Winner, Rep. McCravy. has championed Students for Life’s Bills & Will Do It Again with Voter Support
WASHINGTON, D.C. (04-30-2026) – Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins announced SFLAction’s endorsement of SC Rep. John McCravy, a champion for SFLAction, running for reelection in the SC State House District 13. Rep, McCravy’s commitment to LIFE has earned him honors from the National Association of Christian Lawmakers (NACL) and SFLAction.
“On behalf of Students for Life, I am honored to express our gratitude to John McCravy for his unshakeable defense of Life and to endorse him in his reelection bid for the South Carolina State House,” Hawkins said. “For years, John McCravy has been an unstoppable pro-life force who believes in protecting and supporting the building blocks of society — families. He won’t stop until the preborn babies of South Carolina are protected from conception, and we are honored to stand and fight with him until abortion is illegal and unthinkable in the Palmetto State.”
During his time in the South Carolina House, McCravy has committed in both word and action to advancing pro-life principles across the board. He received a 100% pro-life rating on SFLAction’s survey, pledging votes to stop taxpayer-funded abortion, criminalize Chemical Abortion Pill trafficking, protect Life from conception, and support mothers who all too often become the secondary victims of the abortion industry.
He has sponsored, co-sponsored, and pushed votes on numerous pro-life legislations, including the SFLAction-championed “Fetal Heartbeat Protection from Abortion Act” (S.0474), SFLAction’s “Human Life Protection Act”(H.3457), the SFLAction-inspired “Abortion-Inducting Drugs Act” (H.4760) and an amendment to defund Planned Parenthood in South Carolina.
SFLAction previously honored McCravy with the Pro-Life Champion Award during the 2025 Legislator Summit at the National Leaders Collective Kickoff Weekend.
“McCravy is exactly what a pro-life leader needs to be,” Hawkins said. “Despite great obstacles, including an attempt to remove him from the South Carolina Family Caucus and a Democrat filibuster of nearly 1,000 amendments, McCravy has been unwavering in not only introducing and sponsoring legislation, but in pushing legislation forward for votes, no matter where the attacks he faces come from. Too many Republicans won’t put their money where their mouth is. With McCravy, being pro-life isn’t just a title: It’s a mission.”
