As Chemical Abortion Pills are illegally trafficked into pro-life states against their laws by malicious abortion vendors and the blue states that enable them, one senator is not letting this criminal behavior slide.
Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has sent a criminal referral against Chemical Abortion Pill vendor Plan C, accusing them of shipping the deadly pills into states where they are illegal, according to an exclusive at FOX.
Hawley sent the referral to Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, asking him to open a criminal investigation into Plan C for potential criminal trafficking of the drug, referring to them as a “left-wing dark-money operation.”
The accusations include directing women in pro-life states to unregulated foreign abortion vendors to order pills “without prescriptions, identification, or medical consultations,” according to FOX. Women are encouraged to hide their activity by using “privacy-focused browsers, virtual private networks and encrypted email,” warning them of potential legal consequences for doing so, FOX reports.
Plan C also encourages women to take Chemical Abortion Pills through 14 weeks of pregnancy, which is after the safety limit set by the Food and Drug Administration.
This conduct, Hawley argues, violates laws “covering prescription drugs, laws prohibiting the importation of unapproved drugs into interstate commerce, and federal conspiracy and aiding-and-abetting statutes,” writes FOX.
Students for Life of America (SFLA) and Students for Life Action (SLFAction) have been fighting alongside Hawley to bring awareness to the dangerous practices of the abortion industry. Sen. Hawley recently headlined SFLAction’s ‘Keep Planned Parenthood Defunded’ webcast, calling on the organization and other abortion vendors like Plan C to be defunded.
This alleged criminal behavior is not limited to Plan C. SFLA reported on a recent exposé by the Charlotte Losier Institute showing Chemical Abortion Pill vendors knowingly break federal laws and safety limits.
Dangerous practices by the abortion industry are part of why SFLA has called on the federal government to do a thorough safety review of the Chemical Abortion Pill mifepristone to keep preborn children and women safe from this predatory industry that willingly puts their health and freedom at risk. We will not stop until abortion is unthinkable.
