“This November, the Democrats will see if their all-in gamble on unrestricted abortion through all nine months is the winner they hope it is, as states like Arizona face pro-abortion ballot initiatives that will put the lives of mothers and babies at great risk,” said Students for Life Action Vice President of Political Affairs Chanel Jacobs. “The only vision offered to voters by Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz embraces abortion radicalism far worse than Roe, guaranteeing late-term abortion until the moment of birth. The more voters learn about this barbarism, the more they reject it – and that’s why we’re heading to Arizona this week to fight for hope and a future for all Americans – including those yet to be born.”
PHOENIX (10-01-2024) – Students for Life Action (SFLAction) is deploying to critical swing states around the country educating voters on races up and down the ballot, as Democrats run under the banner of the most pro-abortion Presidential ticket in modern history. This weekend in Phoenix and Tucson SFLAction volunteers and staff will door-knock and engage voters in Districts 9 and 17, distributing literature about various candidates, and Arizona’s Proposition 139, which would legalize abortion until birth in the Arizona State Constitution.

SFLAction Vice President of Political Affairs Chanel Jacobs said, “Arizona voters need the facts about the pro-abortion ballot they’re facing this November. If successfully pushed forward, abortion without any limits through all nine months would become law of the land in Arizona. Democrats want this extremism in every state. However, we’re going to educate Arizona voters about this barbaric law as well as on the candidates who will be called to fight for life in law and service in the state legislature. With millions of lives on the line, the stakes couldn’t be higher; the Pro-Life Generation is mobilized and ready to fight for Life!”
SFLAction engaged and educated Arizona lawmakers and voters on numerous pro-life legislative initiatives and programs in the last several years, including:
- Spearheading the introduction of and lobbying and testifying in support of Arizona’s HB 2810 (to protect children from abortion violence at the moment of conception) and HB 2811 (to protect children and mothers from the predatory Chemical Abortion industry).
- Hosting a multi-day Political Leadership Workshop to train SFLAction student leaders, SBA Pro-Life America staffers, and Arizona Life Coalition board members.
- Rallying outside of the Arizona Supreme Court on Tuesday, Dec. 12, as the justices heard oral arguments in the case filed by Planned Parenthood vs. Kris Mayes/Hazelrigg.

- Hosting Lobby Days and protests in opposition of HB2677 and SB1734, which overturned the current Arizona law that protects both the life of the mother and preborn baby from the moment of conception.
Recently, SFLAction kicked off a brand-new advertising campaign, the Democrats for Infanticide Campaign, showcasing the Democrats’ comfort with the barbarism of late-term abortion and even infanticide, which includes a national TV commercial and a digital launch in Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and New Hampshire.

There are 12 states where SFLAction will be primarily focusing this election cycle because of previous primary wins for critical legislative seats, the presence of a hotly contested U.S. Senate race involving a strong pro-life candidate, or a pro-abortion ballot initiative threatening preborn lies in the state. These states include:
