“Young women, born and preborn, deserve better support than the tired misogyny Harris offers,” said Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins. “Sexists used to tell women they couldn’t handle work and family, so stay at home. Now Harris and her abortion loving donors say the same thing, except women are told to stay at work. We all deserve more than what Harris and the Biden Administration has to offer.”

MEDIA ADVISORY: Vice President Kamala Harris to address an Emily’s List Fundraiser and Students for Life Action volunteers will be onsite for interview

WASHINGTON, D.C. (05-16-2023) – Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins noted that the political nature of abortion politics would be on full display tonight as the Vice President makes an appearance at a fundraiser pushing for more abortion-supporting legislators. “Anyone who doesn’t understand that abortion is federal policy isn’t paying attention,” said Hawkins. “If you’re running for a federal office, you need to be able to articulate a federal vision. Certainly, we know that the Democrats are prepared to make their case.”

Hawkins recently addressed tactics and tools for the GOP on abortion in an op-ed at The American Mind, detailed here: MUST-READ: Students for Life Action President Has New Advice for the GOP on Abortion

Students for Life Action (SFLAction), a 501c4, along with its 501c3 sister organization, Students for Life of America (SFLA), make up the nation’s largest pro-life youth organization and a political and policy operation engaging people of all ages. Together they work to end abortion — the human rights issue of our day — and provide political, legal, and community support for women and their children, born and preborn. Headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA, SFLA has more than 1,400 groups on middle, high school, college, university, medical, and law school campuses in all 50 states. SFLA creates strategy, policy, and programming to connect those most targeted for abortion with people ready to help and builds a framework for political engagement on their behalf. SFLA and SFLAction have more conversations with those most targeted by the abortion industry than any other pro-life outreach in the world, reaching more than 2 million people across social media platforms each week and engaging in approximately 100,000 digital conversations per month. Over more than 16 years, President Kristan Hawkins has grown SFLAction/SFLA into an $18 million organization preparing for a Post-Roe America.
