Students for Life Action’s “Get Out the Pro-Life Vote Billboard Truck Tour” will visit The University of Texas at Tyler on October 29, continuing nationwide efforts to educate voters before November 3.

“James Talarico can attempt to mask his abortion agenda with religious language, but that doesn’t change his record. Texas voters deserve to know where he stands on protecting preborn children, and we’re bringing that message straight to college campuses. The Pro-Life Generation isn’t sitting this election out,” said Lane Koch, Vice President of Students for Life Action.

TYLER, TEXAS (10-27-2026) — Students for Life Action (SFLAction) will bring its “Get Out the Pro-Life Vote Billboard Truck Tour” to the University of Texas at Tyler on Thursday, October 29, from 10 AM – 2 PM CT, engaging students and encouraging pro-life voter participation ahead of the November 3 midterm elections. The visit continues SFLA’s 2026 efforts to raise awareness about Democrat U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico’s abortion record and opposition to protections for preborn children. The “Get Out the Pro-Life Vote Billboard Truck Tour” is traveling through eight states, bringing our pro-life message directly to college campuses and communities ahead of Election Day. At UT Tyler, student activists will encourage peers to examine candidates’ abortion positions and vote.

The Texas stop follows several 2026 efforts by SFLAction to challenge Talarico’s abortion positions:

  • September 13 — Austin: SFLA launched a nationwide church-flyering initiative.
  • September 16 — Waco: Pro-life students mobilized around Talarico’s Baylor University appearance, challenging his abortion positions and religious arguments.
  • October 14 — Dallas: SFLA students confronted Talarico’s abortion record during his nationally televised CNN/Jubilee town hall.
  • October — National Commentary: SFLA President Kristan Hawkins challenged Talarico’s religious arguments on abortion ahead of the midterms.

Talarico has supported restoring federal abortion protections associated with Roe v. Wade and opposed pro-life legislation in the Texas Legislature. SFLAction maintains that voters should examine his legislative record alongside his campaign messaging.

With Election Day near, the Pro-Life Generation is continuing its voter education efforts to help Texans understand what’s at stake for preborn children.
