The abortion industry puts a price on preborn life, with every Chemical Abortion Pill and surgical abortion sold as “freedom” or an “easy fix” with next to no serious side effects. Now, a Tennessee State House Representative also put a price on life by financially punishing those who peddle these deadly drugs to women.
According to the Nashville Banner, Republican Rep. Gino Bulso proposed a bill that would allow women to hold Chemical Abortion Pill distributors civilly liable for Chemical Abortion Pill damages – to the tune of $5 million.
“The bill would hold the distributors ‘strictly liable’ for ending pregnancies,” Nashville Banner reported. “It would aim to deter people from delivering drugs like mifepristone and misoprostol, including via mail, to Tennesseans but would not apply to people providing…for other purposes, like when misoprostol is provided to treat a stomach ulcer.”
So clearly, Bulso’s bill directly targets the abortion industry. If the bill were to pass, it would encourage other pro-life states to hold pill pushers accountable and deter them from allegedly breaking the law and mailing these dangerous drugs, often with no proper identification or pregnancy verification, to vulnerable women or their abusers.
Bulso’s bill not only keeps pill pushers accountable but puts a value on every life lost to these drugs. After all, if the abortion industry can put a price on life, the Pro-Life Generation (PLG) can as well.
Bulso told the Nashville Banner, “It’s difficult to put a value on a life — an economic value — and when you’re talking about an unborn child who is killed without even having the chance to survive outside the womb, $5 million is a reasonable amount.”
Indeed, human life is priceless, and ideally, no price would be enough to make up for the slaughter of each preborn child due to abortion. However, if “putting a price” of $5 million on a single preborn life deters the abortion industry and saves thousands of preborn lives, it’s a bill worth pursuing and a price the abortion industry should pay – repeatedly, for every preborn baby snuffed out by Chemical Abortion Pills.
Current data from the Guttmacher Institute shows that over 60% of abortions in the United States occur through Chemical Abortion Pills, which is twice the chemical abortion rate a decade ago in 2014. Since we have no National Abortion Reporting Law, these statistics are likely incomplete, with the numbers probably higher.
That’s why other states should model their pro-life bills after Bulso’s bill: Chemical Abortion Pills are the new way for abortion. Forcing pill pushers to pay a price for mailing and selling these dangerous pills will make them think twice about it.
Sadly, the abortion industry has put money on a pedestal made from the bodies of dead children. Still, the Pro-Life Generation (PLG) can use their greed to our advantage by attacking their pocketbooks by defunding and debarring Planned Parenthood and suing Chemical Abortion Pill distributors.
