If you think America treats its pro-life activists harshly, you may not know about what’s been happening in Canada or even the United Kingdom, where it’s now illegal to pray in front of abortion facilities (yes, really).
According to reporting from TodayVille in Edmonton, “The Liberal government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has brought forth legislation that could see pro-life pregnancy centers stripped of their charitable tax status.
In a press release Tuesday, Canada’s Department of Finance announced new legislation to amend the Income Tax Act and Income Tax Regulations to protect “reproductive freedom by preventing abuse of charitable status.” The euphemistic term “reproductive freedom” refers to the so-called freedom to have an abortion or engage in other anti-life practices. The bill was tabled by Trudeau’s Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth Marci Ien.”
Canada, of course, has also taken steps to go after Jewish organizations as well, revoking the tax status of two organizations for daring to support Israel. Vice President Kamala Harris may have more in common with Justin Trudeau on this habit of targeting political enemies (and standing against Israel) than people realize.
In truth, under Harris, this kind of targeting has already happened here in America, albeit on a smaller scale.
As Attorney General, Kamala Harris worked hard to prosecute pro-life activists and organizations, most notably in a drawn-out campaign against pro-life activist David Daleiden for his undercover videos noting that her campaign contributor, Planned Parenthood, was allegedly and illegally selling aborted baby body parts.
During her tenure as Attorney General, Harris also supported legislation that would have forced pregnancy resource centers to refer for abortions – a law that was struck down as unconstitutional byt the U.S. Supreme Court. Despite this, Harris has continued to champion nearly every effort to shut down these critically important resource centers for women.
Late on, as senator of California (and one of the most liberal Senators in America at that), Harris introduced the Do No Harm Act in the U.S. Senate, which would water down the federal 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act, among other laws designed to protect people of faith.
She also notably co-sponsored legislation to ban state-level restrictions on abortion.
And as we all remember on the campaign trail, Harris made headlines for saying that “I don’t think we should be making concessions when we’re talking about a fundamental freedom to make decisions about your own body,” referring to abortion.

Oh yeah, and she told two young Christian men they didn’t belong at her rally for saying that “Christ is Lord!”
Harris claims she doesn’t have an enemies list. But she sure seems to have an outward grudge against Christians. This kind of next-level bias and hatred towards Catholics will become policy and law if Harris ever sees the inside of the White House. If you don’t believe that, just ask the Canadians.
