MEDIA ADVISORY: Students for Life Action Coming to Kentucky to Recruit, Raise Awareness, and Canvass for LIFE, Highlighting Pro-Life Champion Daniel Cameron

“When voters in the Bluegrass State go to the polls this November, they will determine whether the most vulnerable Kentuckians have legal protection, given the stakes in the race for Governor,” said SFLAction’s Kristan Hawkins. “This week, Students for Life Action will be asking the people of Louisville to defend the innocent and help their mothers with their vote.”

LOUISVILLE, K.Y. (10-12-2023) Students for Life Action (SFLAction) will be in Louisville, KY, this coming weekend, to rally support and raise awareness for the upcoming November election. Staff and volunteers from SFLAction will be conducting leadership training, canvassing, and rallying supporters for Republican Gubernatorial candidate Daniel Cameron. This is one of the last stops planed on the “Stop Abortion Extremism Tour” organized by SFLAction to push back against the Biden administrations brand of abortion extremism.

“Kentucky currently has some of the strongest prolife protections in America, but we know that these can quickly evaporate considering the radical abortion position of Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear,” said Hawkins. “The pro-life movement and our allies in the Republican Party have a chance to secure the trifecta of American politics in the Bluegrass state: both statehouses and the Governorship, should Attorney General Daniel Cameron prevail. With our growing army of volunteers, we can secure a win for LIFE here in Kentucky. It’s important to remember that Beshear vetoed a pro-life measure that allowed for more than 9 in 10 abortions on demand. Even less than one percent of lives saved was too much for that abortion extremist. Thankfully, the people of Kentucky pushed back.”

Currently, Kentucky has limited abortionexcept in cases to save a pregnant mother’s life and to prevent serious risk to a pregnant mother’s physical health.

With more than 30 groups in Kentucky, SFLA rallied to support Cameron’s effort to support Kentucky’s pro-life laws, fighting all the way to the Supreme Court, after Beshear refused to do his job and defend Kentucky’s law.

SFLAction’s Stop Abortion Extremism Tour has engaged voters as part of a broader nationwide effort to recruit, train, and create a groundswell of active grassroots supporters to push back against the pro-abortion radicalism of the Democrat Party and its allies in the abortion industrial complex.

This week at the University of Louisville, SFLAction will engage voters through leadership training workshops and voter registration. Additionally, overpass banner outreach will be conducted at the Big Four Pedestrian Bridge in Louisville over the Ohio river. To register or participate, click HERE.

Students for Life Action (SFLAction), a 501c4, along with its 501c3 sister organization, Students for Life of America (SFLA), make up the nation’s largest, pro-life youth organization, managing a political and policy operation engaging Americans of all ages but with a special emphasis on the largest segment of voters — the Youth Vote. Together they provide political, legal, educational, and community support for women and children, born and preborn. Headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA, SFLA serves more than 1,400 groups on middle, high school, college, medical, and law school campuses in all 50 states. SFLA and SFLAction have more conversations with this generation targeted by the abortion lobby than any other pro-life operation in the world, each week reaching more than 4 million across social media platforms and averaging 1.3 million video views. SFLA has also launched multiple initiatives to lead and serve  the future of the pro-life movement including the Campaign for Abortion Free Cities, Standing With You, and the Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement . Over more than 17 years, President Kristan Hawkins has grown SFLAction/SFLA and the Pro-Life Generation into a nearly $20M organization, now preparing for an abortion-free America.
