SCORING ALERT: SFLAction Urges Pennsylvania General Assembly to Vote NO on University of Pittsburgh Funding in Budget
In Spring 2021, the Center for Medical Progress released a video explaining disturbing details about government sponsored, taxpayer funded “research” using the remains of aborted infants harvested by Planned Parenthood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since then, the University of Pittsburgh has made excuses for their research and has expressed that they have no plans to stop.
Utilizing fetal tissue for research is a morally and ethically problematic practice that taxpayers should NOT be forced to fund. Additionally, using aborted fetal tissue and cells is unnecessary and largely ineffective due to the development of ethical methods that yield better results through recent scientific advances.
