Tragic Opposite Day: Abortion Lobby Breaks Promises in Little Known Regulation Changes to Force Employers to Accommodate Abortion Through a Program Designed to Safeguard Expectant Mothers & Preborn Children
“The Biden Administration won’t be happy until abortion pervades every aspect of our lives, as evidenced by their attempt to sneak abortion — the ending of a new human life — into a program that is about the exact opposite: supporting the growth of a new human life,” said Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins. “It doesn’t get much more backwards than that, but that’s exactly what we’ve seen time and again from this administration. Biden’s slogan might be ‘Build Back Better,’ but it sure looks like ‘Build in Abortion Wherever.’”
BIG WINNERS:Planned Parenthood, which will further profit off the utilization of abortion, and corporations, which will have to spend less on accommodating families and mothers in the workplace as it’s cheaper to kill dependents.
BIG LOSERS: Preborn babies who can be killed.Women whose mental and physical health will be jeopardized by risky abortion procedures. Employers whose consciences will be disregarded as they are forced to accommodate the killing of a child — and who may in the future be forced to fund it.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (08-18-2023) – Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins announced a nationwide effort to prevent President Joe Biden’s Abortion Lobby from injecting abortion through the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) into a program that was set up to demand employers make reasonable accommodation for pregnancy. Announced earlier, the EEOC is attempting to change the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) through proposed regulations that would mandate accommodation in the workplace for abortion, regardless of employers’ beliefs (including religious or faith-based organizations) or state laws.
Students for Life Action is calling on voters nationwide to oppose this radical change, slipped into regulations as benign despite its bastardization of the original purpose of the program.
The Federal Register has published the EEOC’s proposed regulations to change the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA). This will allow people, organizations, legislators, et al, to comment during a 60-day period about whether they like the new ideas. SFLAction has set up an easy commenting page to ensure the Pro-Life Generation has the opportunity to tell the EEOC that we want nothing to do with these proposed changes.
