But we are looking at what made the cut: Affirmation of 14th Amendment Protections & Condemnation of radical late-term abortion,” said Students for Life Action’s Kristan Hawkins. “In light of those GOP goals, the Pro-Life Generation wants to make a NEW DEAL with President Trump and the Republican Party, to ensure that future generations get a chance at the LIFE in America, and we stop a weaponized federal government from pushing abortion wherever it can.”

WASHINGTON D.C./MILWAUKEE, WI (07-18-2024) – As the GOP prepares for the final night of the Republican convention, Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President and former Republican National Committee staffer Kristan Hawkins called on President Trump, Republican Party leaders, and GOP Congressional leaders to commit to a New Deal with the Pro-Life Generation to reverse the deadly impacts of the Biden-Harris Administration’s radical abortion policy. “For more than half a year, SFLAction has worked behind the scenes to fight for a home for pro-life voters in our GOP for Life initiative. In the platform, we see a statement we can work with, given two clear goals articulated: Support for 14th Amendment protections and condemnation of late-term abortions. But from the podium this week in Milwaukee, the party that has been our voting home for decades has been silent about whether we are welcome…and that’s certainly not the reception that pro-abortion voters will get from the Democratic Party.
She continued: “It was disappointing to see Eric Trump, President Trump’s son, refer to the LIFE issue as merely a ‘spot’ on a basement wall, as though the loss of more than 65 million American lives isn’t worthy his consideration. But we do understand that as the Biden Administration contemplates packing the U.S. Supreme Court to manipulate the judicial process to force an abortion agenda and as Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) pledges to change U.S. Senate rules to force unlimited, taxpayer funded abortion into law, our greatest adversaries are the abortion bullies who have run Washington D.C. under the Democratic Party rule.
“Still, the GOP can and must do better. Pro-life Americans don’t expect political leaders to have all the answers, which is why we are laying out for the GOP our framework for a New Deal to ensure an end to the weaponized pro-abortion policy that has tainted the Biden-Harris record.”
