“A radical abortion industry sells death for profit with one choice only: abortion. Women, the preborn, and voters deserve better,” Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins. “Defunding and debarring Planned Parenthood will save lives. Our billboard truck will promote this message and share authentic support available to moms and families in cities targeted by Planned Parenthood in Illinois. Rather than end human suffering, the abortion lobby lets end the lives of those who might suffer. GOP, offer more! Offer hope and a future for all.”
MEDIA ADVISORY: During the first day of the GOP Convention, Pro-Life Americans will prayerfully hold a Life Chain at a Planned Parenthood near the Event; Mobile Billboard onsite.

MILWAUKEE, WI (07-10-2024) – Students for Life Action (SFLAction) will hit the road next week, with a stop at the Republican National Convention and including stops in Illinois in the Chicago area as part of its latest pro-life tour: The Defund Planned Parenthood Truck Tour through the Abortion Capital of the Midwest. SFLAction President Kristan Hawkins said, “With the election on the horizon, and the Republican National Committee just days away, we’re heading to Milwaukee, where we will get the word out why Planned Parenthood needs to be defunded and debarred by all those who want less federal involvement with abortion. In this new era, with President Trump’s statements that abortion is a state issue – we are making him take accountability of this years-long effort to finally defund Planned Parenthood of our federal taxpayer money, something that all Republicans should join us in.”
The tour includes trips to Illinois, the abortion capital of the Midwest, where Planned Parenthood already has plans to open mega-abortion vendors on the borders of pro-life states, as they hope to profit from ending innocent life in the womb.
Students for Life of America (SFLA), sister organization of SFLAction, will also promote authentic resources to women and their families through our Campaign for Abortion Free Cities.

The video billboard truck will also broadcast Unplanned film screenings to further illustrate the horrific experience of those who were exposed to the lies Planned Parenthood peddles for profit. Unplanned depicts a fictionalized portrayal of Abby Johnson’s memoir, showing her journey from Planned Parenthood doctor to pro-life activist.
The tour will also feature campus Cemetery of Innocents, a moving display with one pink cross for each child Planned Parenthood aborts every day, memorializing the vulnerable women and their children that have been killed or hurt by the barbarism of abortion.

“Now more than ever, with the election on the horizon, the Youth Vote is up for grabs, and we need to meet students and young voters where they are,” said Hawkins. “And as we’ve seen from both the media and our own polls, the pro-abortion extremist’s agenda of limitless abortion isn’t landing. We know there is a desire to address the human rights issue of our day in a meaningful, compassionate way. Abortion is on the ballot, and we are urging all to reject abortion extremism and VOTE Pro-Life First.”
Our most recent poll with Students for Life of America’s The Demetree institute for pro-life advancement/You Gov found:
