“Floridians face a stark choice this November, when unlimited abortion is on the ballot,” said Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins. “Make no mistake, the Democrats are going to use abortion as a Get-Out-The-Vote tactic to run from their terrible record on the border, economy, and foreign policy. The Pro-Life Generation will stand with vulnerable women and preborn babies to ensure it doesn’t happen.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (04-11-2024) – Students for Life of America (SFLA) will hit the road to the sunshine state with a brand new VIDEO BILLBOARD TRUCK next week where voters face a November ballot initiative that would upend existing pro-life laws in Florida. If voted into law, Florida would lose The Heartbeat Abortion Prevention Act signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis, and the abortion law replacing it would exceed the abortion violence than what Roe v. Wade permitted.
“The recent Supreme Court ruling putting abortion on the ballot for November means it’s all hands-on deck in Florida,” said Hawkins. “Our army of volunteers and activists will rally, door knock, engage voters, and educate Floridians about the endless abortion extremism that could be written into law if the pro-abortion ballot initiative passes. This “Vote NO on 4” Florida Billboard Truck Tour is the first salvo in a year-long fight, and we invite Florida’s elected leaders to join us in standing against the pro-abortion lobby.”
The upcoming “Vote NO on 4” Florida Billboard Truck Tour is hitting multiple cities and university campuses in Florida where SFLA President Kristan Hawkins and staff will educate voters, and recruit and train young people.
The tour will also feature campus Cemetery of Innocents, a moving display with one pink cross for each child Planned Parenthood aborts every day, memorializing the vulnerable women and their children that have been killed or hurt by the barbarism of abortion.

A PICTURE WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS: In addition, SFLA will screen the movie Unplanned on our video billboard truck to attending students and volunteers. Unplanned depicts a fictionalized portrayal of Abby Johnson’s memoir, showing her journey from Planned Parenthood doctor to pro-life activist.
The video billboard truck will be parked on a college campus for each leg of the tour, broadcasting Unplanned film screenings, appeals for why students should “Vote NO on 4” in November, and information about the devastation that Planned Parenthood and Chemical Abortion Pills cause.
At the Florida International University campus stop, Kristan Hawkins will host a tabling event and evening speech as part of her “No Abortions, No Exceptions” tour, answering questions from students, debating pro-abortion supporters, and advocating for a pro-life vote AGAINST the pro-abortion November ballot question.
Hawkins will also conduct an activist briefing, giving students and community members materials and information on the ballot initiative, ensuring that each student activist is equipped with topic cards, door hangers, and other materials for community engagement.

The youth vote and the Pro-Life Generation aren’t convinced by the pro-abortion extremists’ agenda. Our most recent poll with Students for Life of America’s The Demetree institute for pro-life advancement/You Gov found:
- More than six out of 10 want abortion limits (65%) and three out of four (75%) want limits after viability.
- 37% supported heartbeat protections, while 15% would limit it to three months.
- Nine in 10 Youth Voters Supported Health and Safety Measures to save the life of the mother, who may be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy – with 47% saying its “extremely important.”
- Four in 10 (40%) wanted to support political candidates who support abortion limits with 16% wanting to support someone fighting “strongly in favor of abortion restriction.”
- More than three in 10 said they would be more willing to accept limits on abortion IF there were more services.
SFLAction is pushing back against ballot initiatives and supporting multiple “Decline to Sign” campaigns against the signature collection efforts that often take advantage of intentionally confusing ballot language, weaponized by pro-abortion groups.

PLG includes Students for Life Action (SFLAction), a 501c4, along with its 501c3 sister organization, Students for Life of America (SFLA), that together make up the nation’s largest, pro-life youth organization, managing a grassroots political and policy operation engaging Americans of all ages but with a special emphasis on the largest segment of voters — the Youth Vote. Headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA, PLG/SFLA/SFLAction serves more than 1,400 groups on middle, high school, college, medical, and law school campuses in all 50 states. In addition to SFLA/SFLAction, PLG leads multiple initiatives to lead and serve the future of the pro-life movement including the Campaign for Abortion Free Cities, Standing With You, and the Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement . Over more than 17 years, PLG CEO Kristan Hawkins has grown the operation into a nearly $20M organization, now preparing for an abortion-free America.
