WASHINGTON, D.C. (07-25-2023) – Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life Action (SFLAction), explained that South Carolina’s Representative Nancy Mace is a proponent of life-ending legislation for the preborn and cannot be relied upon for voting the correct way on any issue. “Nancy’s priority is getting time on cable news and bashing her party in a Joe Scarborough fashion,” added Hawkins.
Hawkins added that Rep. Mace’s true nature was shown when Politico recently reported her begrudging behavior to vote on a National Defense Authorization Act amendment that would block funds for abortion travel in the military. (SFLAction explains HERE how that amendment vote would be scored and shared with pro-life voters across the nation.)
SFLAction, active in all 50-states and regarded by The Washington Post as “one of the largest antiabortion organizations in the country,” is highlighting and exposing Rep. Mace as the first of several Republicans adorned by the abortion lobby and President Biden.
In the coming days, Hawkins and SFLAction will release a website dedicated to the Republicans who deny preborn children the Right to Life by voting lockstep with the blood-money of the abortion industry. “We hear complaints from South Carolinians that Nancy aligns herself with the pro-abortion party, and now we’ll have opportunities for our supporters and student activists to get involved by engaging in efforts that hold her accountable for betraying pro-life voters.”
Furthermore, SFLAction will encourage the Pro-Life Generation in South Carolina and other states to get active in their communities, equipping them with resources to educate others on the pro-abortion votes of some Republican members.
